Interested in joining the group?
Postdoctoral Fellows: I am interested in recruiting postdocs with a range of backgrounds. To inquire about a postdoc position, please email with your CV, a statement of your interest in the lab, and the names of 3 references.
Graduate Students: I welcome Rice University graduate students into our group from the following programs: Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology (SSPB), Biochemistry and Cell Biology (BCB), Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE), and Bioengineering. I also welcome visiting graduate students, e.g. CSC students, into my laboratory. Please email me to express your interest and include your CV.
Undergraduates: In general, I welcome both Rice undergraduates and undergraduates from other colleges and universities into my laboratory. Undergraduates in my lab have been co-authors on several of our papers. Rice undergraduate students can receive credit for undergraduate research in my laboratory and can get a modest stipend for summer research. Undergraduates from schools besides Rice are encouraged to apply to the Rice REU.
